The program aims to provide a comprehensive foundation of all English skills for children. It emphasizes understanding and use of essential communication skills within controlled vocabulary sets, expressions, and grammatical structures. Students will study a variety of age-appropriate and relevant topics or themes to build fluency, grammatical accuracy, listening and reading comprehension and phonetic awareness within basic situational contexts. Students will also be introduced to the idea of cultural differences including, language, customs, traditions, and thinking.
