Students immerse in a modern work environment, honing essential communication and intercultural skills. Through role-plays, group discussions, videos, and interactive activities, they develop the ability to understand, analyze, and effectively communicate on various business topics.
This program does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. As such, PTIRU did not review this program.
Students who enroll in a language program which is six months or less in duration or for which tuition is less than $4,000 may not make a claim against the Student Tuition Protection Fund, which is managed by the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. Further, this language program may not have been reviewed or approved by PTIRU.

Level Placement
Successful completion of GROW A2+ level or an official English proficiency test with a minimum score of IELTS 4.5, TOEIC 550, TOEFL 45, or Duolingo 65.
The Business English program at SSLC is meticulously structured to cover a wide range of topics critical for success in today’s global workplace. The curriculum is divided into two main components, focusing on key areas such as career choices, business sectors, and project management. Students will delve into global markets, branding, and job hunting strategies, equipping them with the necessary skills to navigate diverse business environments.
Additionally, the program emphasizes innovation and leadership, offering insights into design, safety, security, customer service, and communication. Topics such as logistics, working abroad, and entrepreneurship provide students with the tools to excel in various professional settings, fostering both creative and strategic thinking essential for leadership roles in the modern workforce.
Class Time
Monday – Friday
9 am – 12 pm: ESL
1 pm – 3 pm: Business English
Start Dates
Students can begin their studies every Monday, except on holiday Mondays.
